Robert Allen’s practice focuses on all areas of estate planning, including the preparation of wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, and advance health care directives, as well as on estate and trust administration. Mr. Allen also has experience in real estate sales transactions, leases, and business matters.  Clients depend on Mr. Allen to help them and their families through the process of administering the estates of deceased loved ones in probate court, when there is no trust, or outside probate court when there is a trust. Rob speaks Spanish fluently and represents English and Spanish speaking clients.

Rob is very active in community service, and has volunteered his time serving on the Boards of Directors of a number of Santa Cruz County nonprofit corporations such as of the Rotary Club of Watsonville, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Pajaro Valley Historical Association, Cabrillo College Foundation, Pajaro Valley Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture, MENtors, and Mar Vista Field Project, the Audit Committee of the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County, and the Capital Campaign Committees of Pajaro Valley Prevention and Student Assistance and the Emeril’s Culinary Garden and Teaching Kitchen at Starlight Elementary School, among others.

Rob was born in Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz and grew up in Corralitos, graduating from Aptos High on 1988. He lives in Aptos with his wife Christine, where they raise their son and daughter.
