The attorneys at Allen, Allen & Caroselli Ltd. have a long history with Santa Cruz County, the Monterey Bay and the Pajaro Valley. Firm founder, Richard Allen, is a respected estate planning and trust attorney having served the Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties since 1966. He began as an associate of the Wyckoff, Parker, Boyle and Pope law firm, became a senior partner in the 1970’s, and became counsel to the law firm of Bachan, Skillicorn and Marinovich in 1996. When the Bachan, Skillicorn and Marinovich law firm ceased operations in 2006, Richard formed Allen & Allen LLP with his son, Robert Allen.
Robert Allen was born and raised in Corralitos, attending school there and in Estepona, Spain where he became bilingual in Spanish. He graduated from George Mason Law School, in Arlington, Virginia and was a litigation associate in the law firm of Walsworth, Franklin, Bevins & McCall in San Francisco for a number of years. Upon his return to the Pajaro Valley, Robert associated with Bachan, Skillicorn and Marinovich. Then, in 2006, when Bachan, Skillicorn & Marinovich closed its doors, Robert and Richard opened Allen & Allen LLP to continue providing the highest quality legal services to the Monterey Bay and Pajaro Valley.
In 2011, Robert and Richard began working with Devon Caroselli, another Santa Cruz County native. Devon Caroselli grew up in Soquel, leaving to attend school in Southern California where she graduated from USC School of Law. She started her career as an associate with the law firm of Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP, working for multiple years in both the Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. Eventually, Devon made her way back home and in 2012, she officially joined the partnership, making it Allen, Allen & Caroselli Ltd.
